Throughout the pandemic, the Blythman and Partners team has continued to provide 24/7 care, meeting all the essential welfare needs of your pets. This is of paramount importance to Blythmans and we wish to continue to provide this level of service as the Government begins to ease restrictions.
A number of local veterinary practices have struggled to remain open and provide veterinary care with increasing numbers of employees being required to self isolate either through positive Covid tests or close contact with positive cases.
With this in mind, Blythman & Partners have made the decision to adopt a more cautious approach to the easing of restrictions.
From 19th July:
- Our colleagues will continue to wear masks and PPE.
- Clients will be asked to remain outside the practice premises.
- Clients will be asked to maintain social distance with our colleagues.
It is expected that positive COVID cases and those requiring to self isolate will rise with the easing of restrictions on the 19th July. This has facilitated the decision to continue operating in this manner, ensuring that we can safeguard the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and clients, whilst allowing us continue to meet the welfare needs of your pets.
As we see large numbers of clients and their pets on a daily basis, this greatly increases the risks of our veterinary team contracting COVID, and subsequently transmitting this to other colleagues and clients. This could have a significant impact on the services that we can maintain and provide if multiple colleagues contract COVID or are required to self isolate simultaneously.
Our intension is to review our policies and give further updates following 19th August.
