We received a call from Marie at the British Divers Marine Life Rescue. They had rescued a seal pup in distress, affectionately named Sylvia, who needed tube feeding fluids. We gladly supplied the medication.
Marie said, “We would just like to say a huge thank-you on behalf of Sylvia the seal and everyone here at BDMLR for your kindness and generosity. It makes a big difference to the seals we rescue to have people like yourselves willing to help out.”
We were pleased to hear that after Sylvia was tube fed fish and fluids and soon became very alert and “bitey”. She has now been transported to East Winch for further treatment and rehabilitation.
