The shelter has a range of events coming up over the coming months, including a special cat protection event.
✨ Purrfect Protection: Microchip Your Cat for a Cause
- 🗓️ 27 April: A chance to microchip your cat ahead of the new legal requirement. Book a slot for just £5 and help animals in need. The last few tickets are remaining for our Purrfect Protection event, so book now to avoid disappointment!
✨ Newcastle Falcons Tipsy Tea Party
- 🗓️ 18 May: An afternoon of prosecco, joy, and delicious treats at Kingston Park. Tickets at £30 support the shelter.
✨ Shelter Summer Fair
- 🗓️ 6 July: A family-friendly extravaganza with food, fun, and a dog show. Adults £3, kids £1, and under 12 months/pets free.
✨ Junior Great North Run
- 🗓️ 7 September: Children can join the Shelter team for the iconic race. Help us by running and raising funds.
✨ Close House Golf Day
- 🗓️ 24 September: Swing for a cause! Golf, breakfast, dinner, and raffle at Close House Golf Club. Team registration at £450 with various sponsorship opportunities.
✨ Shelter Christmas Market
- 🗓️ 7 December: Embrace the festive spirit with a Christmas market. Entry supports the shelter, with dog shows and Santa’s Grotto.
