Kennel cough alert

There has been a reported outbreak of kennel cough in the South Shields area.

Kennel cough is a viral infection causing a harsh cough and affected dogs often bring up white phlegm. Whilst the majority of dogs remain bright, some dogs develop a temperature, become lethargic and can cough so much that they begin to vomit.

Fortunately, there is a vaccination available. If you think your dog has kennel cough or you would like to vaccinate your dog against kennel cough, please contact Blythman and Partners South Shields on 0191 4564209.

If you believe your dog may have contracted kennel cough, please make our receptionists aware on the phone so that we can take additional precautions.
