Introducing February’s Patient of the Month

Ruby Lamb

Brought into our Westerhope branch as an abandoned lamb only 3 days old, Ruby Lamb presented with a high temperature, unable to stand or walk and generally quite lethargic.

Although Ruby’s new owners had done their best at home to care for her and feed her at home, it was essential she was treated urgently.

Luckily at Blythman & Partners our seasoned vets are also experienced in larger animal species including sheep, cows, horses and pigs. Thanks to this they acted quickly to give Ruby the treatment she required.

After a full examination, some medication and a stomach tube placed to administer a solution of nutrients that Ruby may have previously been deprived of due to her unwell state, Ruby was ready to go to her new home.

We hope to see Ruby Lamb continue recover and grow big and strong
