Congratulations!
Over the last couple of months, the shelter has asked for your support in Almo Nature’s Companion for Life project, with a chance of the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter receiving a share of £45,000.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that thanks to your help, they managed to secure 2nd place and with that, an amazing £9000! These vital funds will go towards upgrading and repairing one of the most vital spaces, the on-site vet room, which is a calm, secure area where animals receive treatment and also recover from life-changing operations.
You’ve all made a massive difference to animals like Otto, who used that room to recover once he came into the shelter’s care.
